Classical Guitar magazine has called Berta Rojas an “ambassador of the classical guitar.” And while that might not be an official title, interestingly enough, she is Paraguay’s Ambassador of Tourism. Paraguay’s pick of Rojas was very deliberate, I’m sure, as she is known across the globe for her skill on the guitar in many different styles. Each of her performances captures a certain warmth and personality that truly exhibits the artistry behind her music. Berta Rojas will perform tomorrow at Northwest Hills United Methodist Church, a show put on by the Austin Classical Guitar Society. You can also hear her live on KUT RIGHT HERE.
