So today’s February 28, and we were just getting ready to put away all our February clothes for the year, and crack out our March togs. Then we realized that tomorrow’s February 29 — Leap Day! A whole extry day to do whatever we want! We’re sure you’re as excited about this as we are, and you’re probably getting ready to bake your Leap Day pie and cook up your traditional Leap Day Turducken (it’s a bird with extra birds inside, just like Leap Day is an extra day inside the year), so we’re not going to slow you down with a lot of chatter. We’re just gonna get right to it.
We’ve got an all-music special podcast for you today. Well, it’s not all music. It’s music and people talking about music, which is even better, as far as we’re concerned. We’ll start things off with Zydeco Nation, A Black History Month Special, which is a great look at a fascinating artform. Then it’s a little something from KUT’s own Andres Aguirre, who helped out in our Storyboard department for a while and also put together this super cool Portrait of an Artist piece on Austin’s underground DJs.
