THE GOOD MUSIC CLUB: Quiet Company

February 16, 2012 10:07 am by: Laurie Gallardo

Hello again from The Good Music Club! The GMC is both a live music event and an online video series highlighting Austin-based bands and solo music artists making an impact on the local music scene. This week, we feature performances by Quiet Company, who made the cover story on this week’s Austin Chronicle. They have a show coming up Feb. 24 at Stubb’s indoor venue, 801 Red River. This is one spectacular pop band with a huge following and a phenomenal live show. They also rock the suits-and-ties look. See for yourself.

Taylor Muse is the frontman and principle songwriter on the mic, flanked by guitarist/keyboardist/glockenspiel artiste Thomas Blank, bassist/pianist Matt Parmenter, drummer Jeff Weathers, and introducing the newest member, trombonist Cody Ackors.

Don’t forget the next taping of The Good Music Club is Feb. 26 at the ND at 501 Studios, at 5th and Brushy. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the taping starts at 7 p.m.
