Given all the surprise headliners and famous keynote speakers, sometimes good Texas talent can get lost in the South By Southwest shuffle. Helping put the town on the map is Sarah Jaffe, a young singer-songwriter who’s pushing boundaries, both as a singer and a songwriter. Texas Music Matter’s David Brown talked with Jaffe about her musical beginnings, a bad case of writer’s block, and The Body Wins, the follow-up to her critically-acclaimed 2010 debut Suburban Nature.
