The StoryCorps mobile booth was in Austin recently collecting stories from your fellow central Texans. The Airstream has now left town, but we’ll continue airing the stories recorded there every Monday and Wednesday morning here on KUT and archiving them here.

Today we’ll be hearing from Stephanie Stillman, who sat down in the Airstream recently with her wife, Summer Spisak. Stephanie and Summer talked about their life together in Austin, and Stephanie shared memories about her childhood days, about realizing she was gay, and about her connection with her great aunt Al.
