Spicewood Beach Getting Bigger Water Hauls

Thanks to the record drought in Texas and a failing community well, Spicewood Beach in Burnet County has been relying on water trucked in from neighboring water systems. For StateImpact Texas, KUT’s Terrence Henry reports that a new, bigger truck has started hauling water to the area, which has some residents concerned, and hopeful that eventually a new well will ease things.

Hopefully they get that other well drilled down below, get a little deeper and hopefully we have some more water down there. Until we drill it, we don’t know.
