The StoryCorps mobile booth was in Austin recently collecting stories from your fellow central Texans. The Airstream has now left town, but we’ll continue airing the stories recorded there every Monday and Wednesday morning here on KUT and archiving them here.

Today we’ll hear from Mary Anne Notzon and her eleven-year-old daughter, Ulan. When Mary Anne and Ulan sat down in the StoryCorps mobile booth recently, they talked about a wide variety of topics, including Ulan’s earliest memories, the meaning of success, and, as you’ll hear in this piece, the nature of love.
