DIY Divorce

For years, people have chosen to represent themselves in Texas divorce cases. But they often use documents that aren’t accepted in some courts. Now there’s work on introducing standardized divorce forms that could streamline the process. However, as KUT’s Erika Aguilar reports, there’s resistance to crafting a do-it-yourself approach to divorce.

Photo Exhibit Documents Clarksville’s African-American History

When Pauline Brown, a longtime Clarksville resident, died several years ago, she left behind a historical treasure. Her rare collection of photographs depicts the people and places of old Clarksville. Those photos will be on display starting Friday at Jeffery’s Restaurant in one of Austin’s most storied neighborhoods. Gretch Sanders has more.
