David Mamet’s Pulitzer Prize-winning Glengarry Glen Ross returns to the Austin stage this weekend, courtesy of the fine folks at A Chick and A Dude Productions. Set in the high pressure, cutthroat world of investment real estate sales, Glengarry Glen Ross focuses on a group of salesmen trying to make a living any way they can. There’s lying, cheating, plenty of cursing, and all the stuff you expect to see in a David Mamet play.

The cast includes Shannon Weaver (the dude of A Chick and A Dude), Tom Green, Aaron Black, Robert L. Berry, Robert Deike, and Christopher Loveless. Melissa Livingston-Weaver (the chick of A Chick and A Dude) directs the piece.

Shannon Weaver was excited to perform this monologue as Ricky Roma in our studio, and though it’s too blue to put on the air, we’re sharing a bleeped-for-sensitive-ears version here on the site.
