It’s podcast time in America, ladies and gentlemen! Good thing we’ve got a cast to pod. Or a pod to cast. We’re really not sure which way that’s supposed to go.
The bulk of today’s podcast will be the debut episode of the brand-new show Equal Time, “Roe v. Wade at 39.” This is pretty exciting because it features an interview with Austinite Sarah Weddington, who as a young lawyer found herself arguing her first contested case before the Supreme Court. It’s also exciting because we’re more or less on time with this one (which is pretty rare for us); the landmark case was decided in January of 1973, which was just over 39 years ago.
We’ve also got a little something from Youth Radio Vermont for you. It’s pretty nice and it’s called Beautiful, Painful Truth.
