On Texas Independence Day, we’re celebrating some of the independent-minded musicians who’ve dared to push the boundaries of Texas music. Join Jeff McCord, Laurie Gallardo, Jody Denberg, and many more from the KUT music team as we take on the stereotypes. It’s a “Messin’ with Texas Music” edition of Texas Music Matters, Friday at noon and again Friday night at 11 on KUT 90.5.
