When vocalist Alison Mosshart and guitarist Jamie Hince joined forces to create the dynamic duo the Kills in 2000, they did so hoping to find something entirely new musically. I think at this point it’s safe to say that they succeeded. The Kills lay down tracks filled with their unique pop-punk-blues and then blow it up to massive proportions with intricate beats and synths. The completed product makes for an astounding sound. They’ve got a show tonight at Stubb’s, and they stopped by this afternoon to play live from Studio 1a. Listen HERE!
