KUT Public Media Studios Time Lapse Video

Construction of the new KUT Public Media Studios at The Belo Center for New Media is well underway and on schedule for early summer completion.

Located on the northeast corner of Dean Keeton and Guadalupe, KUT will be housed in a 20,000 square-foot wing that will include a 72-seat, glass-walled space (the new Performance Studio 1-A) that will incorporate the community into some of KUT’s hundreds of annual in-studio performances.

Other features of KUT’s new home will include a community engagement room, a street-level outdoor stage overlooking a performance lawn, and a producer commons that will bring together – for the first time – KUT’s newsroom, on-air hosts, music producers, online producers and interns to collaborate. We hope you enjoy looking at this time lapse video of the construction site.
