In the few years since the Michigan native has called Austin home Dana Falconberry has come to specialize in what I call “feel good music”. The kind of music that triggers a spike in dopamine and conjures your favorite childhood memories. We have Dana Falconberry and her band stopping by to play us some music off of her most recent EP Though I Didn’t Call It Came and hopefully give us a sneak peak at some of the songs on her upcoming full length album out later this year. Wether it’s Dana’s distinctively airy vocals or the deliciously vintage instrumentation that force listeners back to their happy place, there is no denying that Dana Falconberry is one of the most enjoyable young singer/songwriters to have landed in Austin in a long time. Listen to her live in Studio 1a with host Jody Denberg.
