The Cactus Cafe was buzzing with energy and magic as the two legendary guitarists David Hidalgo of Los Lobos, Los Super Seven and the Latin Playboys, and Marc Ribot who has played with Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, Robert Plant and many others, took the stage. They talked with KUT’s Jody Denberg about their beginnings and how they developed their unique styles. They also discussed their new project Border Music. They shared stories, played some incredible tunes, and answered questions from a crowd who lingered on their every word.

We hope you enjoy listening back to the evening by clicking on the player at the top of this post.
