Aquaponics Farming in Austin

Gov. Perry Suing Over Virginia Ballot Access
Texas Governor Rick Perry is suing the chair of the Republican Party of Virginia and members of the Virginia State Board of Elections over being left off of the March 6th primary ballot. In a filing made in federal district court in Richmond, lawyers for the Perry campaign challenge a provision requiring petition circulators to be registered or eligible to vote in Virginia.
The state’s GOP told the Perry camp Friday that it didn’t make the ballot because some of the people circulating petitions didn’t meet the standard. Perry’s lawyers say Virginia’s rules violate the governor’s right to free speech and association.
