Invincible Czars @ KUT 12/14/11

December 13, 2011 1:58 pm by: Reid O'Conor

Austin band the Invincible Czars likes to do things a bit off the beaten path for your average rock band. By itself, their music is a bit quirkier than most; with ornate arrangements that span a broad range of genres, the band is a bit difficult to pin down. But what really makes Invincible Czars stand out is what they do with their music. They’ve set new scores to old silent movies, they’ve worked in the realms of dance and film, and perhaps most interestingly, they put their own spin on classical works such as Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite. The Invincible Czars have a show on Thursday night at Skinny’s Ballroom, and you can hear them live on KUT RIGHT HERE!
