Dancer Profile: Aara Krumpe

If you have not yet had a chance to get to Ballet Austin’s production of The Nutcracker we thought this holiday season we would bring a little bit of it to you. Aara Krumpe is dancing the roles of the Sugar Plum Fairy and Frau Silberhaus in this year’s production. She is the mother of two and has been dancing since the age three. This year marks her 22nd appearance in The Nutcracker and we wanted to know a little bit more about how she got to where she is today.

    Love Aara Krumpe. She’s been my favorite BA dancer since her exceptional Firebird performance a few years ago.
