Tuesday Podcast 11/8/11
We’ve got a nice handful of audio entertainment for you and/or your ears today.
First off, it’s Chez Panisse: The Power of Gathering from the Kitchen Sisters. Here’s a fun fact: the Kitchen sisters are not actually sisters and they’re not actually named Kitchen. They’re like the Ramones of public radio, but only in this one regard. The Power of Gathering is a celebration of four decades of “food and fellowship” at the the famed San Francisco restaurant, and we invite you to listen to it alone, on your personal mp3 player’s earbuds.
We’ve also got a piece called Growing Up With Tourette’s from producer Joe Richman. Great and interesting radio, right there.
And last but not least, it’s a little something from O’Dark pal Emily Corwin: The Great Snowstorm of ’78. We know you’ll like it, and that’s why we’re giving it to you for free on the internet.
