Various versions of Minneapolis band the Jayhawks have existed since their formation in 1985. The alternative country/rock group has always had a somewhat fluid roster, but notably in 1995, founding member Mark Olson left to work on other projects. In 2008, he came back, leading to the creation of their newest album, Mockingbird Time, which was released this past September. The Jayhawks are in town for a show at the Paramount Theatre, Hear them live on KUT with host Jody Denberg in Studio 1a.
