Austin based musician Scott H. Biram has earned a reputation as a musical riot starter with his blend of country, rock and blues. However, his most recent album, Bad Ingredients, has him turning it down just a notch, through more mature songwriting, both lyrically and musically. That being said, Biram is still the firestarting genre-chameleon he’s always been, with appearances by gospel and R&B tracks on the new album. On Saturday, Scott H. Biram has a show at the Mohawk, and today at 2 pm, you can hear a liveset he recorded earlier this month with KUT in Studio 1a.
