English musician and singer-songwriter Nick Lowe has been on the bleeding edge of music trends since the start of his career in 1966. A major player in the pub rock, punk rock and new wave movements, Lowe has always had a significant impact on the direction of popular music. His most recent album, The Old Magic, reflects a lot about where Lowe is as an artist at this point in his life. Also, Nick Lowe has been opening for Wilco throughout their 2011 tour.
