Austin band MilkDrive categorizes themselves as an art-folk-progressive acoustic string band, which (while being a bit of a mouthful) is a deadly accurate description. Their specificity shows how strong they are in their identity as a band, something that not every band can claim. The musicians that make up MilkDrive are all extremely talented and award-winning by themselves, together forming an incredibly skilled group. Their first studio album, Road From Home, was released in April to great reviews all around. MilkDrive will play on Thursday night at the Cactus Cafe, and you can hear them on KUT with host Jay Trachtenberg RIGHT HERE!
