Nashville singer-songwriter Darrell Scott is perhaps best known for writing songs which became hits attached to another artist’s name. Scott has penned songs which became hits when they were covered by artists such as Brad Paisley, Guy Clark, Faith Hill and the Dixie Chicks. But Darrell Scott’s songs have always been written for himself and no one else. An impressive amount of thought and emotion go into each of his songs. For his latest album, A Crooked Road, Scott sent himself into a place of solitude, even going so far as to record every single instrument on the album himself. Darrell Scott recently dropped by Studio 1a to record a live set with KUT. Listen HERE!
