We’re really happy that the upstanding citizens over at Chicago’s Clever Apes have finally agreed to let us use their show in our podcasts. And you should be as well, ’cause it’s a cool show and it’s all about science and stuff, so it’s educational too!

That’s as good a reason as any to  kick things off today with a new episode of Clever Apes: “Trick of the Light,” which is all about the mystery of photosynthesis.

We’ve got a new episode of the Mikie Show, in which Mikie himself talks with research mathematician Fionntan Roukema and recalls a childhood fantasy. Good stuff.

Then we’ll wrap things up with the latest installment of O’Dark’s semi-regular series Portrait of an Artist, in which we’ll hear from Tee-Double, the only hip hop artist we personally know who’s had a day named in his honor by the City of Austin.
