Leeds, England based funk band The New Mastersounds have been playing music together since 1999, though back then they played with more of a boogaloo sound. Since then, they’ve refined their sound to the great funk they play now. They’ve had plenty of chances to refine it to0, from their near dozen albums and EPs, to their countless collaborations with artists including Corinne Bailey Rae and James Taylor. Recently, they released a new album called Breaks from the Border. The New Mastersounds have a show Tuesday at the Parish, and you can learn more HERE!
