The city of Austin is looking for feedback on new regulations for the East Riverside Corridor. The East Riverside Corridor master plan is aimed at guiding development in the area.
For this week’s Changing Austin, KUT’s Matt Largey talked about the plan with Erica Leak of the city’s Planning and Development Review Department.
We will be rezoning properties within the planning boundary, but more importantly, we’re creating new regulations that are intended to create a better place for people rather than just a place for cars, as it is at the moment.
The city is holding an open house tomorrow at 5 p.m. at Travis High School on the proposed regulations for implementing the master plan.
