Singer-songwriter Robyn Hitchcock has been an enduring presence in music for the past thirty years, performing with the Soft Boys, the Egyptians, the Venus 3, and as a solo artist. And while you might not recognize the name Joe Boyd, you’ll surely know the artists he’s produced: Pink Floyd, Nick Drake, the Incredible String Band, Fairport Convention, and REM, several of which he details in his acclaimed memoir White Bicycles: Making Music In The 1960′s.

Recently, Hitchcock and Boyd decided to put their experiences together for a short tour, performing at small venues like the Cactus Cafe. They also stopped by KUT’s Studio 1A for a live session with Jody Denberg, which you can take a listen to up above.
