He plays a particular brand of alt rock/pop colored by surrealist and comedic lyrics. Hitchcock will be back in town Friday night with his longtime pal Joe Boyd at the legendary Cactus Cafe. Robyn Hitchcock will perform songs from the era while producer/manager Joe Boyd adds related stories from his acclaimed memoir White Bicycles: Making Music in the 1960s.
