TCU Joins Big 12

Texas Christian University announced last night that the school will accept an invitation to join the Big 12 Conference. TCU was slated to jump to the Big East conference in July, but has elected to stay closer to home by joining the Big 12.  The school will be forced to pay a $5 million fee for breaking the deal with the Big East. Texas Christian will fill the void left by Texas A&M, which will leave the Big 12 next year to join the Southeastern Conference.
