Keyboardist and singer Gregg Rolie has been at the forefront of several musical trends over his more than 40 years as a professional musician. As a founding member of the bands Santana and Journey, among others, he helped shape the sound of rock music from the late 60′s to the early 80′s. In 1998 he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his work with Santana. More recently, he released a solo EP titled Five Days. Gregg Rolie will be playing One World Theatre on Friday night with local blues guitarist Alan Hynes as the Gregg Rolie Duo. You can hear the Gregg Rolie Duo live on KUT when they join host Jay Trachtenberg tomorrow in Studio 1a at 2pm.
