Golden Bear

Under the “About” section on Golden Bear’s Facebook page is written “galactic forest rock from Austin, Texas.” You’d be surprised with how accurate that brief description is. Golden Bear’s pop rock melodies invoke both images of the outer reaches of space and of the forest, but most of all Golden Bear’s music is just fun. The band is about to release their third full length album, and will play a CD release show on Saturday at Club Deville. You can learn more about Golden Bear hear them play live on KUT when they join host Jay Trachtenberg in Studio 1a on Wednesday at 2pm.
