In a field flooded with bands with “Deer” in their name, Deer Tick stands out as the one that also has “Tick” in their name. But seriously, hailing from Providence, Rhode Island, Deer Tick is an excellent 5 piece folk rock outfit. Known for their raucous live shows, the band sought to bring some of that energy back to the studio for their 4th album. They succeeded, resulting in more of a full-on rock album than their past few. The album, Divine Providence, will be released on Tuesday the 25th, and the band will be playing a show that day at Emo’s East. Listen here!
