Austin local singer/songwriter Dave Madden is a definite bright spot in an ever increasingly bright local scene. His music stretches genres between pop, jazz and funk, and straddles the line between fun, catchy melodies and thought-provoking, emotional lyrics. Madden attended the world-renowned Berklee College of Music, where he honed his vocal talents and became well versed in guitar and piano. Having recently released a new album, Open-Eyed Broken Wide, Dave Madden has two shows this weekend, one at the Domain on Friday and another at Momo’s on Saturday.
