Dan Mangan announced that he had just finished recording his third full-length album at this year’s Sasquatch Music Festival – and the crowd went wild. The Canadian folk-singer started out playing mostly solo acoustic shows, but these days he’s rocking a full band. He’s taken the show around the world and toured with bands like The Walkmen, Decemberists and Okkervil River. Mangan’s songs manage to be intimate while still rocking enough to sell out theaters and pack festival stages. This new album, Oh Fortune, just dropped on September 27. Dan Mangan will play The Parish on Wednesday night. But not before he stops by KUT’s Studio 1a. Check out his live performance RIGHT HERE!
