Portland based folk rockers Blind Pilot have built a substantial fan base with their DIY tours. One of which included a bicycle tour that took them from Bellingham, Washington to San Diego, with several concerts in between. Unfortunately the tour came to an untimely end when their cycling gear was stolen. Undeterred the two founding members Israel Nebeker and Ryan Dobrowski added four more to their touring group and proceeded to hit the road again in support of their 2009 album 3 Rounds and a Sound. September saw the release of their second full length We Are the Tide and a slew of tour dates to showcase the new material. They wil be stopping in Austin October 5th for a free in-store performance at Waterloo Records in the afternoon before their evening show at The Parish. Enjoy their performance in Studio 1A RIGHT HERE!
