The Tiny Adventurers formed when the members of Austin’s Li’l Cap’n Travis threw their respective instruments into a hat and played whatever they pulled out. With tunes penned by Matt Kinsey the sound is very similar to Li’l Cap’n Travis but with old musicians playing new instruments everything gets a bit more of a freewheeling vibe. Their newly released album Wild-eyed in the Hinterlands layers on their unique brand of sleepy rock n’ roll.
