Sergent Garcia @ KUT 9/12/11

September 12, 2011 2:13 pm by: Reid O'Conor

Sergent Garcia is truly a world musician. Raised in France by his French mother and Spanish father, he takes his influence from the Caribbean and Latin America. The sound that results is a truly unique blend of these various influences, a sound which he calls “salsamuffin.” Having just released his first full-length album in five years, he’ll be playing a show Tuesday evening at the Flamingo Cantina. You can learn more about Sergent Garcia when he joins host Michael Crockett live in Studio 1a at 2pm.
