Bastrop Homeowners Look Ahead to Rebuilding

Bastrop County Officials say the Bastrop County Complex fire was 95 percent contained as of Sunday.  With more than 1600 homes burned to the ground in Bastrop County, many in the area are now looking to re-build their homes. Wildfire May Tighten Austin Rental Market

Thousands of people whose homes were destroyed in the Bastrop County wildfires may be looking to Austin to find rental housing while they rebuild their homes. That could further tighten an already tight rental market. KUT’s Emily Donahue speaks with Cody Lyon from the Austin Business Journal.
