Boston based Eilen Jewell knows has played music in every corner of this country and nowhere are those different influences more apparent than in her newest album Queen of the Minor Key. Jewell easily blends West Coast country with East Coast swing with a powerfully evocative voice. Her inflections tell as much of the story as her words, and it’s the sad, slow numbers where her heavy somber voice really shows its real power. Jewel is finishing up the Texas leg of her tour with a stop at the Continental Room September 6th. But you can get a preview of her new album RIGHT HERE.
