Promoter, photographer and music lover Daniel Perláky, founder of Indierect Records and creative director of multi-media production studio City On Fire, is one of the hardest-working people I know. His projects are driven by the passion he has for music and art.

Of course, it’s no surprise to find that Perláky is also the founder of Art Disaster, a highly anticipated semi-annual event spotlighting some of the best local musical talent and DJs in town, and it’s clearly a labor of love. Perláky believes in the talent he supports, and it shows.

For Art Disaster’s thirteenth installment, Perláky teamed up with local promotional group Knuckle Rumbler to help organize the event, and once again the bill has an impressive line-up. This is a fantastic way to start your ACL Fest weekend. Art Disaster No. 13 happens tonight at the Beauty Bar, 617 E. 7th St. Doors open at 8 p.m., but it’s recommended you RSVP for entry and arrive early. Art Disaster always packs the house.
