What We’re Watching: Oxelo Skateboards

At Storyboard we’ve developed a real soft spot for skateboards even though we don’t own one. Maybe it started with one of our very first, and still one of our favorite, Sonic IDs.

From our very earliest days as Storyboarders we’ve talked about skateboarding features.  There was the 60-year-old skateboarder who broke his arm before we could film him and also the daredevils who illegally fly down Lime Creek Road by Lake Travis  at 45 mph, who for obvious reasons turned out to be a bit camera shy.

Recently Arts Eclectic featured the city’s new skate park on Shoal Creek Boulevard with some beautiful skatable art and that fueled our passion. And now this from the French skateboard company Oxelo.  This wonderful little video not only brings us some very entertaining skateboarding but also a beautifully shot glimpse into the everyday life of the people of India and the joy three skateboarders from France bring to an otherwise ordinary day.

We don’t own a skateboard yet, but we’re thinking about it, thanks to What We’re Watching.
