It’s podcast time in America, my friends, and we’ve got a little something from some familiar voices for you. We’ll kick things off with part one of Snap Judgment’s recent “Fighting Back” episode. This show is consistently great, and we really enjoyed hearing host Glynn Washington reference the ’80s TV show The Equalizer in the intro. He’s disappointingly silent on the topic of MacGuyver, however, but we’ll forgive him because he produces such great radio. The “Fighting Back” episode is about just that — folks who take matters into their own hands and fight back against the darker forces in our world. Part one, which we’re featuring on today’s podcast, includes the story of a regular woman who fought back against an identity thief and the story of one man’s view of the Stonewall riots of 1969.
We’ll pause briefly to enjoy a visit from the Humble Farmer and a little food for thought from Angus Stocking of Belief Systems and Other BS, then barrel ahead with a brand-new addition of Bonjour Chanson, in which the delightfully Belgian Charles Spira plays us some of his favorite French music. Listen with someone you love.
