So we meet again, interweb friends. If you’ve been keeping up with the mighty O’Dark podcast machine, you’ve heard and enjoyed the first two parts of Snap Judgment’s “Fighting Back” episode by now, so you’re surely hoping for and expecting part three to be a part of today’s cast. We shan’t disappoint!

Part three of “Fighting Back” starts with producer/host Glynn Washington’s recount of a disgusting day on the job at the Ponderosa Steakhouse in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We’ve got to be honest  — picturing young Glynn going through the ordeal he describes here breaks our tender heart a little bit, but also kinda makes us laugh at the kid. Sorry, Past-Glynn! This episode also features a harrowing true story set on the subway, a look back at one woman’s troubled teen years and a heartwarming tale of a mom and her gun.

Then we’ve got My Hero, a new story from our pal Graham Shelby that involves sex education class, Graham’s confused childhood feelings toward the fairer sex, and his long-standing fixation on Superman. How do all these things come together? Tune in and find out!

Bringing up the rear today it’s part one of the “Audio Mavericks” episode of New Audio Showroom, which is a show we have recenlty discovered even though it was produced about six years ago and should probably just be called Audio Showroom at this point. We’re slow on the uptake, but we make up for it with enthusiasm. Listen to this show! It’s super-cool! It’s got a story about They Might Be Giants in it!
