Motopony is more a joining of musical forces than a band. Songwriter Daniel Blue only started penning his brand of eager, thoughtful lyrics a few years ago as a way to ease the long days spent in his warehouse designing clothes for his label. When multi-instrumentalist Buddy Ross heard Blue performing his songs at a houseparty he knew they had to join forces. Buddy’s distinct pacing and vibrant arrangements add texture to Blue’s words, not to mention some incredibly catchy tunes. Guitarist Brantley Cady and drummer Forest Mauvais round our the 4 piece. Hear the magic happening live in Studio 1 when Motopony drops by KUT for a few tunes.
