Gov. Perry Fundraising in North Texas

Texas Governor Rick Perry will be fundraising for his presidential campaign in North Texas Tuesday.  A Perry spokesperson says there is a noon meeting in Fort Worth and a reception and dinner in Dallas sponsored by Black Republicans.

Unlicensed to Wreck

When a motor vehicle accident happens in Texas, there is a good chance that a motorist involved in the wreck is not insured. That is the continuing challenge for the state’s program to reduce the number of uninsured drivers. From KUHF in Houston, Pat Hernandez has the story on today’s podcast.

Record Breaking Heat Continues

The heat keeps breaking records in Austin.  On Monday Camp Mabry reached 109, beating the previous daily record of 103.  A heat advisory is in effect for Central Texas until 9 p.m.
