Perry Makes The Rounds

Governor Rick Perry is now making the rounds of early caucus and primary states, after making it officially throwing his hat into the ring for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination.  He declared he is a candidate Saturday at a speech in South Carolina, and then headed north to New Hampshire.  New Hampshire Public Radio’s Josh Rogers reports.

Where Does Perry Fit Among Past Texas Presidential Candidates?

Now that Texas Governor Rick Perry has officially entered the race for President, he will be compared and contrasted with others running in the GOP primary. But Ben Philpott –with KUT News and the Texas Tribune decided to start closer to home – and compare him with other Texans who have made a run for the White House.

Student Artists at Deep Eddy Pool

A group of local students and art teachers is working together to tell the story of Deep Eddy Pool. And they’re doing it with tiling.  As Genna Eneman reports, they have already laid a 12-hundred square foot tile mosaic alongside the pool.
