Girls Rock Camp Austin is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering girls and women of all backgrounds and abilities through musical education and performance. The organization has just kicked off its first ever after school program and are accepting applications right now!

Who: Girls Ages 9-17
When: Monday and Wednesdays (ages 9-11) /Tuesday and Thursdays ages 12-17
Where: Trinity Church, 4001 Speedway Street
Tuition: 0-$400 (See Financial Aid Application For Guidelines)

AFTER SCHOOL OVERVIEW: This is a brand new program debuting in Fall 2011! Curriculum includes instrument instruction, band practice (writing an original song), one on one mentoring in Songwriting, Music Journalism, Recording, Music Video Production, workshops in Screen Printing, Stage performance and an end of term showcase performance. No previous musical experience necessary. Instruments provided, though bring your own guitar, bass, or keyboard if you like. Enthusiasm always welcome!

TUITION PAYMENT & FINANCIAL AID: Full Tuition is $400, however we offer full and partial financial aid and installment arrangements to any student who needs it. Financial aid is distributed based on need. Your registration packet will include your tuition amount ($0-$400) and the due date of your first payment. If we do not receive your payment on or before the due date, you will be put on the wait list, and may lose your spot if the program fills.

ENROLLMENT:
After School spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Students will receive confirmation of enrollment within a week of filling out the registration form. Tuition is due upon confirmed registration (unless arranged otherwise with staff). No tuition refunds will be issued except in the case of medical emergency preventing student from starting or completing the semester.
