Earlier this week, Fun Fun Fun Fest organizers Transmission Entertainment announced the official line-up of this year’s festival, an impressive genre-crossing mix of indie, punk, dance, comedy and metal on four individual stages (one could almost hear the collective scream of sheer joy amongst metal fans across Austin when word quickly spread that Slayer was added to the list). And that’s as it should be. There is room for everything at this event, something for all to enjoy. Once dubbed “the little festival that could,” FFF Fest has made a name for itself by snagging some of the coolest up-and-coming artists while simultaneously keepin’ it real.

Transmission Entertainment’s Graham Williams, founder of the Triple F Fest, recently paid a visit to the KUT studios to chat with music maven Laurie Gallardo about the big move from Waterloo Park to Auditorium Shores, the impact it’s had on booking acts, and the benefits of continued growth without getting too big. You can listen to the interview on the mp3 above.

Check out the FFF Fest website for  the list of artists and ticket information.
