A good Friday to you all, internet friends. We’ve got another piping hot podcast fresh from the O’Dark oven for you. On Tuesday, we brought you the first installment of Snap Judgment’s “Fighting Back” episode, and today we’ve got part two for you. In this installment, you’ll hear the story of a man who took a job at a submarine factory in Dubai, which seems like a reasonable and normal thing to do. What could go wrong? Plenty, as it turns out. And then there’s Chas Jackson’s story of fighting for his family, which is totally different but equally gripping.
Second on the hit parade today is What Was Left Behind, from O’Dark stalwart Eric Winnick, which is one of those bittersweet, real-life sort of family stories that public radio types like you and we so enjoy.
We’ll bring it all home with Postcard From Guatemala:No Matter Where You Go… from our buddy Jake Warga, who really knows what he’s doing with a microphone and an editing bay.
